ARE YOU PREPARING FOR 5010?
This is a real heading on an email received today from Medicare.
I know there's a lot of discussion on changes in health care administration, and we have seen some interesting events at Medicare this year, chiefly due to Congress' slow action, but giving us 3,000 years to prepare for changes at Medicare seems a bit much.
Oh, but it turns out 5010 refers to a format by which information is sent to Medicare from health care practitioners.
